event producer international women’s podcast festival // 2022

For the 2022 event I was contracted to work alongside the festival director to deliver the event for 2022. Responsibilities included: managing the programming of the London in-person event, liaising with stakeholders and sponsors, and overseeing the delivery of the festival both in person and via streaming.

I created systems to streamline planning and enable the team to work across all elements of delivery. I used my Adobe Creative & web design skills to roll out a new visual identity.

Founder & Director Blogtacular Events // 2013 - 2020

Blogtacular is a conference and events company which is on a mission to raise standards and enhance careers within the blogging and indie business arena. Since 2013 we have hosted five large scale conferences, workshops, twitter chats and have a top ten podcast.

As director of Blogtacular I was key to developing the vision and identity as well as shaping the conference’s programme each year. I pitched and won contracts with sponsors including Microsoft, Tui, West Elm, Mailchimp, Pinterest and B&Q to name a few. I worked alongside our sponsors to deliver propositions which achieved their objectives and a balance between social media coverage and strong long-term partnerships with influencers.

My commitment to high quality speakers and levels of service built Blogtacular’s reputation as the foremost conference for bloggers, influencers and independent business owners.

In 2015 I launched The Blogtacular Podcast which created a space to explore the creative history of leaders in the creative and online community. At the time it was the first podcast to focus on UK based creatives and create a platform to elevate their work.

As a producer I over saw all elements of podcast production from research, guest booking, script editing and creative vision.

Social Media Consultant Freelance // 2011 - Present

Working with brands of all sizes to analyse performance, establish areas for improvement and deliver actionable content plans.

I create tailored training for all skill levels across multiple platforms and have delivered training at companies including Annie Sloan and IKEA.

I am able to support agencies and brands in developing influencer programmes and campaigns including vetting potential partners for quality and alignment.

Photographer & Filmmaker Freelance // 2012 - Present

My photography is a mix of personal art and commissioned work. I shoot both product and events, working with natural light where possible.

I have filmed and edited for several clients as well as extensively for my own brands. I work across multiple Adobe programs to edit photos, film, animation and sound.

Speaker & Visiting Lecturer Freelance // 2012-Present

I speak at a range of events both industry and private. Sessions I have delivered include, developing your online brand, photography, growing your profile on social media, launching online and podcasting. Events include, The Photography Show, The V&A, Pinterest, The ASA, Top Drawer and London Podcast Festival.

I have lectured at and am on the Digital Media Advisory Board at University of Winchester, am a visiting lecturer to University of Brighton and soon to be at University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. Available to develop and deliver classes and lectures for distance learning and virtual events.
